Usain Bolt: A motivation for every Person

Bolt has a net worth of 90 million dollars today and every year this player is earning 20 million US dollars. But his life was not always like this.

There was a time when he used to sell cigarettes and liquor at his father’s shop. But recently the news of his drinking alcohol worth 6 lakhs also went viral in the media. So, friends, it does not take long to change the situation. When conditions change, you don’t just walk fast, but you start flying in the air.
Bolt ran so fast that he became the only player in the history of the Olympics to win 8 gold medals. It wasn’t all due to a feat, it also involved Bolt’s hard work and passion to achieve his goal. Let’s know about the fastest player in this world.
Biography of Usain Bolt
There was something special in Usain Bolt, that’s why his teacher Lorna Thorpe advised him to go into athletics instead of cricket. Bolt was crazy about cricket and football in his childhood, he did not like anything other than this.
One day when his teacher Lorna Thorpe saw him running on the pitch, he was very surprised to see his speed. Then he explained to Bolt that he should try out for track and field events. Just after this, Bolt never looked back in life and set such records that no one could reach.
Bolt still considers his teacher Lorna Thorpe as his second mother because she always encouraged Bolt to focus on his goals. Bolt was born in Sherwood, a small town in Jamaica. His entire family, including his parents, a brother, and a sister, was dependent on a small shop.
As a child, Bolt spent most of his time playing cricket and football in the streets with his brother. There was hardly anything Bolt thought about other than sports. Bolt says that if he had not been a sprinter, he would have been a fast bowler.
And this was the reason that he was a big fan of Pakistan’s fast bowler Waqar Younis. Besides that, Bolt also likes Chris Gayle and Matthew Hayden.
After taking admitted to the school, when Bolt started spreading the magic of his speed, everyone was amazed by him. At the age of 12, he had become the fastest runner in the 100 meters race in his school and by the age of 15, he was recognized as an athlete all over the world. Bolt did not like to lose since school time. Bolt was so fast that he could easily beat players much older than him.
In 2002, Bolt won the World Junior Championship by defeating an athlete four years older than him in Jamaica. With this victory, Bolt became the youngest world junior gold medalist.
Due to this achievement, he received the Rising Star Award from the International Association of Athletics Foundation that year. Bolt said that he has made sports so exciting that people want to watch sports.
“I have taken sports to a different level.” Also, Bolt says that he is trying to be the greatest like Muhammad Ali and Pele.
After becoming junior world champion in 2002, Bolt lost to Justin Gatlin of America in the 2004 Athens Olympics. At this time Bolt was selected for Jamaica’s team even after a hamstring injury. Justin Gatlin won gold in the 100 meters at the 2004 Olympics. But Gatlin did not play in the 2008 Beijing Olympics as he was banned for 4 years for drug use.
Bolt was not the biggest competitor in this Olympics, but Bolt broke Gatlin’s world record and ran the 100 meters in just 9.69 seconds. Bolt has broken many records in his life, but this record of the Beijing Olympics was his best and most memorable.
This record probably could have been even better as the winds were not supporting Bolt in that race. At the same time, when Bolt was sure that he was going to win, to celebrate that moment, he broke down and his shoes were also opened.
This Olympics was special for Bolt in many ways. In this Olympics, Bolt won three gold medals and broke three world records, and set a new record. Bolt has made a world record in 100 meters, 200 meters, and 4×100 meters relay which no one has been able to break to date.
Bolt holds the world record for completing 100 meters in 9.58 seconds, 200 meters in 19.19 seconds, and 4×100 meters in 36.84 seconds. You will also be surprised to know that Bolt has not one but 19 Guinness World Records in his name.
Because Bolt wanted to become a cricketer or football player apart from an athlete, in one of his interviews, Bolt said “After retirement from athletics, I want to be a professional footballer and if I get a chance to play for Manchester United it would be a dream come true.”
Bolt tried his luck in football
Following his dream, Bolt started playing friendly matches of football after retiring from athletics. But because Bolt had devoted his whole life to athletics and playing a new sport at an older age is not as easy as it looks. Bolt also did not get that success in football and in January 2019, Bolt announced that he would not play football and his sports career is now over.
Things to learn from his life
Bolt may have become so big, but people close to him say that he is a person connected to the earth. He always remembers where he came from. He respects people a lot and is a soft-hearted person. His parents have instilled good values in him.
In 2010, Bolt launched his auto-biography called My Story: 9:58: The World’s Fastest Man
In 2012, its extended version was republished as The Fastest Man Alive: The True Story of Usain Bolt
